 About the time that Tulsi Gabbard resigned from her post in intelligence with the Trump Administration, National Public Radio (pol. normally left of center) ran a strange report that someone from the CIA had entered Gabbard's office and taken a JFK file, that had been on her desk, he took that file out of the building.  No other details.

The report below, from RT (Russian Television), though I use its website, mentions Jack Ruby, and how Intel leaders in the US sought to use psychological methods to prevent Jack Ruby from telling his story to the American people.  Will the US ever release all the pertinent info re who really killed JFK?----Hugh Murray

New details on the agency’s notorious MKUltra program have been revealed at a Congressional hearing

The CIA is declassifying a new trove of documents relating to its ‘MKUltra’ program, Representative Anna Paulina Luna said on Tuesday. Nazi scientists were involved in the agency’s mind-control experiments.

Last month, Luna ordered CIA Director John Ratcliffe to preserve 40 boxes of “JFK files and MKUltra files” which it had taken from the offices of former Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. After reported back-and-forth arguments between Ratcliffe and Gabbard over the files, the CIA has since agreed to declassify and release them, Luna revealed at a hearing on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.

“The documents – I feel comfortable enough to share here – pertain to a forgery program that was being housed under MKUltra,” Luna said. 

MKUltra was a program of illegal human experimentation run by the CIA and a web of collaborating medical facilities and universities between 1953 and 1973. Participants were dosed with psychoactive drugs and subjected to torture – including sleep deprivation and sexual abuse – as CIA scientists attempted to ‘break’ their minds so that they could be controlled.

Then-CIA Director Richard Helms ordered MKUltra shut down and all related documents burned in 1973. However, one box of 20,000 files survived the fire and was discovered in 1977. Almost everything that is now known about MKUltra is based on this document cache. According to these files, MKultra snowballed into 149 subprojects, including experiments with remote-controlled dogs.

MKUltra was discussed by lawmakers during the 1975 Church Committee hearings, and drug testing on human subjects without informed consent was banned by President Gerald Ford the following year. However, neither Helms nor program director Sidney Gottlieb were ever prosecuted for their role in MKUltra.

The CIA has since acknowledged that most of its MKUltra experiments had little scientific rationale.

Was Charles Manson a CIA stooge?

According to Luna, these revelations were the tip of a sinister iceberg. Testifying at Tuesday’s hearing, investigative journalist Tom O’Neill told Luna that Jack Ruby – who murdered alleged JFK assassin Lee Harvey Oswald – was treated by psychiatrist Louis Jolyon West, who conducted experiments with LSD and hypnosis on behalf of the CIA and was a confidant of Gottlieb.

West, O’Neill alleged, was ordered by Helms and Gottlieb to declare Ruby insane “to keep Jack Ruby from telling his story.”

Charles Manson – whose followers murdered actress Sharon Tate in 1969 – also sought treatment from West before the murders. However, O’Neill said that he has “never been able to prove absolutely” that Gottlieb was responsible for altering Manson’s mental state.

Were Nazi scientists involved in MKUltra?

MKUltra was preceded by Project Artichoke, a similar program aimed at developing truth serums and altering human behavior with drugs, hypnosis, and chemical agents. The project was built on research carried out by Nazi scientists at Dachau concentration camp, and used North Korean prisoners of war, as well as US and Canadian citizens, as guinea pigs.

Some of these scientists, including Nazi biological warfare director Kurt Blome, were among the 1,600 German scientists, engineers, and technicians given amnesty and taken to the US under ‘Operation Paperclip’. While it is already well known that Blome and other Nazi researchers worked on Project Artichoke and MKUltra, their collaboration was deeper than previously reported, researcher and journalist Dr. Stephen Kinzer told Luna at the hearing.

According to Kinzer, the CIA and a group of Nazi scientists operated a secret prison in the basement of a West German chalet, where human experiments were carried out “in continuation of the experiments the Nazis had been conducting just a few years earlier right down the road.”

US-funded biolabs project ‘overwhelmingly’ focused on Russia – ex-CIA analyst

Tuesday’s hearing was the first Congressional session dedicated to MKUltra in 49 years, and according to Luna, is aimed at making the “complete and truthful record” of the program public. “The American people deserve the complete record,” she said. “The victims and their families deserve acknowledgment, accountability, and justice.”

It is unlikely that any officials will be prosecuted over their involvement in the program. Gottlieb died in 1999, Helms died in 2002, and it is unclear if any MKUltra scientists are still alive. 

However, Luna apparently has a secondary political goal: to use her witnesses to cast doubt over the official narratives surrounding the 2024 assassination attempt against President Donald Trump, and the successful assassination of Charlie Kirk last year. 

Asked whether the American public should believe that the CIA halted its mind control experiments when MKUltra shut down, O’Neill said that while he had no knowledge of either shooter being “programmed with radio waves or through their computer activity,” the CIA “developed means that we’ve never been told about many years ago, and I’d imagine they’ve evolved to be much more effective now.”

THE INTELLIGENCE CROWD VS. AMERICA

   In July 1963 there was a training camp above Lake Pontchartrain, near New Orleans.  They were preparing for a new attack on Fidel's Cuba, training to overthrow the left-wing dictatorship and restore Havana as a city of fun, frolicking, tourism, and all that goes with it.  Some in the camp were recent refugees, called worms gusanos by Fidel.  The mafia would restore order, profits, and fun, and end the socialist experiment.  If all went well, Fidel and Che would be eliminated.

     The problem: Pres. John Kennedy had decided  he would try to work with Fidel to reduce tensions.  After the missile crisis, that could have brought nuclear war to Cuba, the US, and the USSR, Kennedy was looking at a way to have a more peaceful approach.  HE DID NOT WANT ANOTHER BAY OF PIGS IN 1963.  JFK was even going outside regular diplomatic channels to calm the waters between the US and Cuba.  He heard of the training camp, and wanted it closed.  GoogleAI notes it was not a CIA camp, just conservatives and refugees gathering explosives and other devices for an invasion of Cuba.  Possible.  But others allege it was a CIA project, even if not named so.  Were it a CIA project, JFK, President, could simply tell the CIA director to close it.  The director, likely out of step, could deny it's his, or ignore the order if it was his.  So to be sure it would be closed, JFK called on someone he could trust, his brother, Robert Kennedy Sr, then Attorney General.  and RFK dutifully sent the FBI to close down the camp.  Was it closing down a rogue camp?  Or was the FBI closing down a CIA camp?  How often does one agency of the US government close down another agency's project?

     Some thought it was a CIA camp, and were furious at its closure.  In meant, no invasion of Cuba, no overthrow of Fidel.  With this closure, one man said, Kennedy signed his death warrant.

    November 2, 1963, Diem is overthrown in a coup in Saigon.  American intelligence was involved in this.  Was JFK aware?  Did he approve?  Was it a rehearsal?

    November 22 another coup - in Dallas.

    In October 2020 in the midst of a Presidential election campaign, the NY Post springs revelations about a laptop of Hunter Biden, son of the Democratic nominee for President.  Sex and drugs (not too different from many young people with $$) but also on the computer revelations on how he got the $$ from Chinese "businessmen with links to their government, and his dad may have been involved too.  This was major news before an election, news that might cost the Democrats their hoped for victory..  Dem. operative at the time, Anthony Blinken, immediately wrote friends in Intel agencies.  The result - 51 leaders of American intelligence agencies, including the head of the CIA, signed on that they had seen the laptop and the story was wrong, it was based on Russian disinformation, AND THESE INTEL AGENTS PUT PRESSURE ON THE MAJOR INTERNET PROVIDERS TO BLOCK THE STORY.

     Officers of our government, like other citizens, have the right to vote for their choice for President and other officers.  THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIE ON BEHALF OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY usiing their status as American intelligence agents.  AND THEY DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO PREVENT THE STORY FROM APPEARING ON THE INTERNET USING THEIR OFFICES AS INTEL AGENTS TO PRESSURE OUTLETS SO THEY WILL DELETE THE BIDEN LAPTOP STORY.  Even if not a single ballot was stolen, by traditional election fraud methods, by making it so difficult to read the truth of possible Joe Biden's corruption with Chinese funds, the American Intel Community stole the election for  Biden and the Democrats.  They lied to defeat Trump and put Biden in the White House, and got google and other groups to black out the major story on Biden corruption as exposed on the laptop and in the New York Post.  Result - the lies of the CIA and other intel groups helped elect Biden and defeat Trump.  But this was not the first effort.

    In the campaign of 2016, Hillary Clinton vs Trump, the Clinton campaign put together a dossier trying to make Trump a dupe of the Russians.  The American Intel leaders knew it was fake, but used it anyway to try to discredit Trump.  Brennan, Clapper, and the FBI leader James Comey all went along with the Russiagate lie.  Result, a special counsel set up that put the first Trump Administration on the defensive for its first 2 years.  In the end, the Special Counsel found nothing, but the damage was done.

     Despite the hatred of the Intel community and the globalists, and the Fauci medictators, Trump won the election in 2024.  If he is to save America, he must clean out the FBI of the Comeys, and clean out the CIA and all other agencies of employees whose first loyalty is to the Dem. Party, or the UN, or general globalism.  We need employees who think of America First.  We have always welcomed those who want to come to the US legally, and we should continue that tradition.  We want to be led by our elected leaders, not by appointed bureaucrats.  We can get their advice, but our elected leaders must be our real leaders.  Other wise we are  essentially not that different from the Stalinist or other dictatorships.  Comey and his ilk should go to jail for using their appointed office to lie to the American people to help steal an election, and with Comey, all the other liars who distorted law enforcement to advance the Democrat Party. 

    I am not saying Trump or any of the Republicans are always right.  But for decades, the Intel community has sought to rule over us, and for some time, they have supported the Democrats.  Corny, but we have a great Constitution, and we should try to live with it and by it so that our democratic republic will continue to prosper in the future.

THE 3 LATEST COUPS IN AMERICA

        On 13 April 2024, Steve Bannon's "War Room" Saturday morning session was devoted to the 3 Coups in recent American history.  The first was a discussion of a new book, The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy: The Final Analysis: Forensic Analysis of the JFK Autopsy X-Rays Proves Two Headshots from the Right Front and One from the Rear, by David W. Mantik M.D., Ph.D. (Author), Jerome R. Corsi Ph.D. (Author), Introduction by Douglas P. Horne.  Bannon's guest for the first half hour of the program was one of the authors, Dr. Corsi.  He contended that using the latest methods to re-examine the evidence of John Kennedy's head, there was little doubt that an autopsy preceded the official one, and alterations were made by physicians to make it appear as if all shots came from behind.  If front shots were admitted, there there must have been a conspiracy, and the Bethesda doctors did not want that conclusion to be obvious to the American public.  So there was a conspiracy to assassinate Pres. John Kennedy, and one to cover it up.  This was the first coup discussed on Bannon's program.  

                 The 2nd coup was related to another new book, The Truth About Watergate: A Tale of Extraordinary Lies & Liars, by Nick Bryant.  The author was guest on Bannon's 2nd half hour.  Bryant argued that the release  of papers of many involved in the Watergate scandals in recent years prove that the Watergate law-suits and convictions of men connected to the Nixon White House, eventually isolated the President and caused him to resign.  More important, Bryant found considerable collusion between prosecutors, judges, and the media.  Bannon declared this was a prelude to the lawfare that we witness against former Pres. Trump today.

           The 3rd coup is the lawfare against Trump.  The Bannon program was fascinating and thought-provoking.   However, I would disagree with his choice of words, for I think it distorts.  In the Watergate burglary, one name stood out in my mind - E. Howard Hunt.  He had already been discussed as a possible member of the conspiracy to murder John Kennedy.  If Hunt was now working for the White House, it raised a sinister cloud around Nixon,  While the coup against Kennedy undoubtedly included military, CIA, J. Edgar Hoover, Vice President Johnson and others, this crowd was quite happy with Nixon in office.  What happened against Nixon was a counter-coup, those fearful of the elements round Nixon, some of whom may have acted in the first coup.  The counter coup against Nixon would include liberals generally, which meant academia, the media, and enough prosecutors and judges to sway the public that there was something wrong at the heart of the Nixon Presidency.  With enough popular support for his ouster, Nixon caved and resigned.

              The 3rd, and on-going coup against Trump is different.  The military is  no longer what it was in the days of Curtiss Le May, and the CIA, FBI and other agency heads are now good liberals or further to the left.  For example, former Director of the CIA, John Brennan, voted in the 1876 Presidential election for Gus Hall, candidate of the Communist Party, USA.  Many newer leaders of intelligence and military groups were now globalists, looking with disdain at the provincial views of their predecessors.  The coup against Trump began before he entered the White House in 2016, when the FBI interviewed Gen. Flynn in order to entrap him, and prevent Trump's designated appointee for intelligence, to be appointed.  Flynn's career was derailed so he could never take office and fire many of the new globalist liberal agency heads.  Members of the FBI also used fabricated stories accusing Trump of Russian collusion, using FISA courts, and then a Special Prosecutor to promote this well-publicized accusation during half of Trump's first term in order to sabotage his Presidency.  As Trump ran for office again in 2020, this time against former VP Joe Biden, in October just before the election, the NY Post released the story of the Hunter Biden lap-top, drug dealing, corruption with his dad, and all the other details with photos; immediately 51 leaders of our intelligence agencies declared the lap-top was Russian disinformation!  Without studying it - they signed this statement, this lie, just because they wanted to prevent Trump from winning a 2nd term.  This coup, still going on as lawfare, includes the liberals, the globalists, the endless war crowd, and the replace Americans in America with a more docile new immigrant population.  In November 2024, we shall see if America continues as an independent nation, or a satellite of international organizations, dominated by China and the other dictatorships.  The choice is ours!

US presidential candidate blames CIA for JFK assassination

Robert F Kennedy Jr. said the agency’s culpability was “beyond a reasonable doubt”

The CIA was behind the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1963 and likely involved in the murder of US Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy in 1968,  Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. alleged during an interview with WABC radio host John Catsimatidis on Sunday.

“There is overwhelming evidence that the CIA was involved in [JFK's] murder,” Kennedy declared, describing it as “beyond a reasonable doubt at this point.”

“The evidence is overwhelming that the CIA was involved in the murder, and the coverup,” the candidate continued, describing efforts to discredit this theory as a “60-year coverup.” Kennedy cited the book “JFK and the Unspeakable” by James Douglas as the best compilation of evidence on the subject, though dozens if not hundreds of works have been written about the assassination and the CIA’s alleged role.

 Kennedy shares opinion on key US mistake with Russia

The official US government explanation, published as the Warren Commission report the following year, holds that US Marine veteran Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in shooting the president while his motorcade was passing through Dallas on November 22, 1963.

Oswald was famously murdered before he could stand trial, though he managed to tell journalists he was “just a patsy” shortly after his arrest. The alleged lone gunman was shot dead by nightclub owner Jack Ruby (real name Jacob Rubinstein) while being transported from Dallas Police Headquarters to the county jail.

Speaking to Catsimatidis, Kennedy added that there was “very convincing but circumstantial” evidence the CIA was involved in the 1968 assassination of his father, Attorney General and presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, as well. He described the official story of the assassination, which was pinned on Palestinian horse groomer Sirhan Sirhan, as physically impossible, arguing Thane Eugene Cesar, a security guard at the hotel who was concurrently employed by military contractor Lockheed, had actually fired the shots that killed Kennedy.

Four years after JFK’s murder, nearly half of the American public did not believe that Oswald had acted alone. The CIA was concerned enough about this fact that it issued a directive in 1967 on how to discredit the so-called “conspiracy theorists” questioning the conclusions of the Warren Commission. Modern use of the term “conspiracy theorist” as a pejorative is often traced back to this 1967 memo.

From the first days after his inauguration as president, there were charges that Donald Trump had won the 2016 election over Democrat Hillary Clinton, through collusion with the Russians. Soon after, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein appointed a Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, to investigate. No specific crime was cited in the order creating the new investigatory section, which would be allocated large funds, so critics deemed it a fishing expedition. After 2 years and limited oversight, unlimited funds, Mueller has found evidence of corruption, but nothing directly linking Russia to the Trump campaign, so far.

The response of some conservative Republicans is that there is solid evidence of collusion with the Russians by a major American politician, but that occurred when Democratic Senator Edward (Ted) Kennedy sought Soviet support for his efforts to derail and sabotage Republican President Ronald Reagan. Reagan sought to defeat “the evil empire.” To do so Reagan wanted America to embark upon a Space Defense Initiative (SDI). This was a space-based missile defense system and a very costly project. Unfortunately for our opponents, the Soviets quickly realized they could not afford to compete with the US in this field.(p. 402) However, the Soviets could try to block the SDI through propaganda. They pressured Western European nations not to allow missiles on their soils, arguing that if they did, they were setting up their own people for massive causalities in case of war. Sen. Kennedy and the Democrats also generally opposed Reagan's proposed SDI, mocking it as “Star Wars.”

Paul Kengor, in his book Dupes, wrote: “The KGB (Soviet CIA) report is dated May 14, 1983, less than two months after Kennedy first ridiculed SDI. KGB head Viktor Chebrikov sent the memo..., directly to General Secretary Yuri Andropov. The subject line read: 'Regarding Sen. Kennedy's request to the General Secretary of the Communist Party [of the USSR] Y. V. Andropov.' It concerned a 'confidential' Kennedy offer to Andropov.”(p. 407)

“According to the KGB memo, Senator Kennedy had conveyed his message to the Soviets through 'his close friend and trusted confident' John Tunney – the same go-between he had used in approaching the Kremlin in March 1980,... Chebrikov said that Kennedy was 'very troubled' by 'the current state of Soviet-American relations,' which the senator attributed not to ...the Kremlin but to 'Reagan's belligerence,... the current threat is do to the President's [Reagan's] refusal to engage any modification to his politics.'”(407)

“...Chebrikov conveyed the U.S. senator's precise offer to the USSR's general secretary: 'Kennedy believes that,..., in the interest of peace, it would be prudent and timely to undertake the following steps to counter the militaristic politics of Reagan.' Step number one...Andropov to invite the good senator to Moscow for a personal meeting... 'The main purpose... according to the senator, would be to arm Soviet officials with explanations regarding problems of nuclear disarmament so they would be better prepared and more convincing during appearances in the USA.'” Kennedy urged that Andropov be interviewed on American television by the likes of Barbara Walters or Walter Cronkite. Kennedy assured the Soviet leader that the senator and his friends would use their influence to get such powerful media people to conduct such television interviews.(408)

“Kennedy indicated he could help organize this media blitz, since he wanted Soviet military and government officials to 'have an opportunity to appeal directly to the American people about the peaceful intentions of the USSR.'”(409)

“The memo concluded with a discussion of Ted Kennedy's political prospects, mentioning that the senator 'wants to run for president in 1988' but also 'does not discount that during the 1984 campaign, the Democratic party may officially turn to him to lead the fight against the Republicans'”(409)

Andropov died shortly after Kennedy's appeal, so nothing resulted from it. Yet, Kengor finds it shocking that the honored American senator, the “Lion of the Senate,” would deem Soviet policy more peaceful than America's. Shocking too, that Kennedy sought the Kremlin's help to “counter” the policies of Pres. Reagan, and weaken the standing of the American president.(411) Kengor adds that the general American media refused to cover the story of the KGB documents and Senator Kennedy when it first appeared the The Times of London in February 1992.(411)

Kengor alludes to an earlier approach by Sen. Kennedy to the Soviets for help. In 1980 Ted Kennedy challenged Democratic President Jimmy Carter for the Democratic nomination for president that year. The Massachusetts senator believed that Carter also was guilty of “belligerence” and of "escalating Cold War tensions.” According to his KGB contact, “Kennedy felt that 'the Carter administration was trying to distort the peace-loving ideas behind [Soviet leader of that time, Leonid] Brezhnev's proposals... and the escalation was fueled by Carter.'” As in the later case of the 1990s, Kennedy's emissary was California Democratic Senator John Tunney, “who declared that Kennedy was approaching the Soviet leader because Kennedy saw it as 'his duty to take action himself.'”(363)

In Michael Pillsbury's The Hundred-Year Marathon...c. 2015, that long-time China expert discusses some of the background to the opening up of China in the early 1970s. “...There were additional factors at work that persuaded Kissinger and ultimately President Nixon to move toward Beijing. While Kissinger was still attempting to discern Chinese intentions, Senator Ted Kennedy was seeking to visit China. The Chinese even mentioned this possibility to Kissinger during his secret trip to Beijing in July 1971, consistent with ...manipulating hawks and doves. Nixon reacted as anticipated and instructed Kissinger to ask the Chinese to invite no other U.S. political figure to visit China before Nixon. Nixon believed, with good reason, that Kennedy was attempting to steal his thunder and become the first American politician to travel to Beijing. Raising the possibility in public speeches of renewed relations with Communist China, Kennedy was putting together what looked to be a foreign policy platform for the 1972 presidential election.”(57)

So it seems as if Sen. Ted Kennedy had a long history of approaches to major Communist governments. Some might contend that his approaches, countering the clearly enunciated policies of the American Presidents, and seemingly endorsing and favoring Soviet peaceful intentions above American “belligerence,” - some might suspect that all of this bordered on treason.

But, consider a little further back in time. Several decades ago a French journalist was having a lunch-time discussion with the new, Cuban strong-man, Fidel Castro. Jean Daniel had been sent as an informal emissary by President John Kennedy to make an attempt to smooth out the rough problems of Cuban-American relations, to try to establish some peaceful relations between the two nations. Their conversation was interrupted when an aide told Castro of an important phone call. Fidel related the news he had just heard to the journalist, President Kennedy has just been shot in Dallas. The Cuban dictator then added, “There goes your mission of peace.” After reflecting a bit, Fidel added, “They're going to blame us.”(Peter Kornbluh, “Kennedy's Last Act: Reaching Out to Cuba,” Unredacted, 20 Nov. 2013)

Why would President Kennedy send a French journalist rather than a regular diplomat to Havana? In the early days of his presidency, Kennedy believed he had been misled by the CIA. A plan to invade Cuba and overthrow the Castro regime had originated during Eisenhower's presidency, and many assumed his vice-president, Richard Nixon, would succeed him. Nixon lost a very close election to Kennedy, but the CIA wanted to go ahead with the plan anyway. They got Kennedy to approve. I can still recall hearing the news on WWL, the 50,000 watt, Jesuit-owned, CBS radio affiliate – the large-scale rebellion in Cuba, reports that Raul Castro may have already been killed, the Castro regime possibly about to collapse, ...In the following days we learned it was all bull, all lies. The US sponsored invasion of the Bay of Pigs in Cuba had gone badly. When it was clear that the Castro regime would defeat the invaders, the CIA and others demanded that Kennedy order air support and possibly troops to oust the Castro regime. Kennedy refused, and was angry because he had been misled about the Bay of Pigs group winning over the Fidelistas. Kennedy said he would smash the CIA into a thousand pieces. We know that relations between Attorney General Robert Kennedy (John's brother) and his subordinate, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, were not cordial. And many of the anti-Castro refugees blamed JFK for the failure of the invasion of Cuba.

Robert Kennedy had for a time served on Sen. Joseph McCarthy's committee that investigated Communist subversion of the US government. Neither Robert nor John were “progressive” Democrats; they were anti-Communists. But as President, John seemed to worry more about the possibility of mutual destruction through nuclear war. He began to suggest peace proposals, as in the American University speech of 10 June 1963.

Yet, during his term, he increased the number of American “advisors” to the military of the South Vietnam government, from several hundred to over 11,000. But what were his intentions? Some say he wanted to withdraw entirely after the 1964 election. But things changed. On 2 November 1963 Ngo Dinh Diem, the President of SVN was killed in a coup, as was his brother, Ngo Dinh Nhu, the number 2 man in the regime. His sister-in-law, Madame Nhu made the cover of Time magazine as she denounced the violent overthrow of the government in Saigon. Diem's very Roman Catholic government was unpopular with many in SVN, but it is unlikely there would have been a successful coup without the support of the American CIA. The agency saw a victory through violent regime change.

There were many Americans who would have been furious had they known JFK was trying to negotiate peace with Castro. Among them was David Ferrie, a pilot who worked both for Carlos Marcello (Mafia boss in New Orleans), and Guy Banister, former FBI man in Chicago, former head of the New Orleans Police Dept., and right-wing activist with connections to various intelligence agencies. Lee Oswald, as a teen, had been in Ferrie's Civil Air Patrol, and may have been encouraged to sign into the Marines through his influence. When back in New Orleans in summer 1963, Oswald worked with Banister to distribute anti-Castro leaflets, and perform other activities to pretend to be a Left-winger. Bottom line, 22 November 1963 in Dallas, President Kennedy was assassinated. The Warren Commission blamed it on a lone-nut Marxist, but demanded that many documents be withheld from the public for 75 years. I assume they were not trying to protect the family of Oswald! No, the purpose of the delay for decades, and the destruction of documents was to protect certain agencies.

Kennedy did not get to smash the CIA into a thousand pieces. Allen Dulles, former head of the CIA, was one of the members of the Warren Commission. Hoover's FBI provided the investigation for the Commission. The New York Times and major media all accepted the conclusions of the Warren Commission. The National Enquirer ran articles alleging conspiracy.

A New Orleanian, I got to attend several sessions of the trial of Clay Shaw for conspiracy to kill Kennedy. Jim Garrison's investigation revealed much more about what was going on in New Orleans in the early 1960s, but witnesses would flee to other states, and Republican Governors Reagan and Rhodes refused to extradite, and federal agencies infiltrated Garrison's prosecution squad, and so on. Moreover, Garrison was unable to present a closing argument nearly as effective as did Kevin Costner in the film, “JFK.”

Though, even at this late date, many refuse to think that a President could be eliminated by the Deep State. Kennedy had made enemies in the bureaucratic deep state of the military, agencies, and others. I think it is clear, JFK was offed by members of the Deep State. It was a coup. We did not invade Cuba, but we did invade Vietnam. That disaster brought second, and more sober thoughts, even by the military.

Ted Kennedy probably suspected that his brother had been killed by the Deep State. He probably was aware that his brother, as president, went beyond the usual diplomatic channels to get his point across. Perhaps, this is why Ted reached out to China and the USSR in strange ways.

If the Deep State staged a coup in the US with the assassination of John Kennedy, what about the Deep State's attempted coup against Donald Trump at the opening of his first term?

Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe spoke on television (CBS "60 Minutes," 17 February 2019) how he and Deputy Attorney General Rob Rosenstein met in the early days of Trump's term. They spoke of deposing the new President, using the 25^th Amendment, meant to remove a president who has a stroke or major health problem. They plotted to do this, though Trump is quite health. They plotted so one might wear a wire, trying to get Trump to say something that might incriminate him. They stressed he fired FBI Director James Comey. So! Trump got Rosenstein to write the memo on why Comey was fired. Trump had every right to fire Comey, and McCabe and Rosenstein. These men were counting which members of the Cabinet might vote to oust Trump and replace him with Vice-president Pence!

Worse, the FBI and other agencies had done nothing to gather evidence to convict former Sec. Of State Hillary Clinton for her misuse of her mobile phones, whereby even classified information was found on the pornographic phone of Hillary Clinton's aide's husband, Anthony Weiner. Many other privileges were granted to Hillary and her entourage, so charges would not be brought. Meanwhile, using Hillary funded anti-Trump scurrilous misinformation, the FBI got warrants from secret FISA courts to justify spying on the Trump campaign. The agency was aiding Clinton and determined to sink Trump. When he surprised them by winning the election legitimately in the Electoral College, then Deep State sought to remove him quickly through the Rob Rosenstein weary wire, and getting the Cabinet to expel Trump. When that failed, Rosenstein plotted a 2^nd method, by appointing Mueller as Special Counsel, not to find a specific crime, but to fish around for anything so Congress could impeach the president. With the help of ex-CIA leader Brennan, ex-national security man Clapper, and other Deep State officials, the resisters and obstructors to President Trump continue to try to evict him from the White House.

The Deep State staged a successful coup in November 1963.  Will the plotters succeed in another coup against Trump?  After all, who should choose the American presidents, the American citizens, or the leaders of the FBI, CIA, etc.?
