MARCH FOR “SCIENCE” – MORE LEFT-WING HYPOCRISY ON THE MOVE

            On Saturday 22 April 2017 Earth Day rallies were combined with the March for Science in many cities throughout the world.  Much of the attempt to mobilize scientists was the result of the Trump Administration’s skepticism toward “global warming,” and threats to cut pet research projects into the supposed phenomenon.  To read the signs and hear the orators, science itself is under attack.  Mobilize to protect the earth; mobilize to protect government grants; mobilize to protect research.  Who could possible be opposed to such wonderful objectives?

            The Left is adept at ajit-prop.  They would like us to forget that a major worry at Earth Day 1970 was the coming Ice Age, featured in the then prominent weekly, NEWSWEEK.  It was Left-wing non-sence “science” in 1970, and it remains Left-wing non-sence “science” today.  The advocates of global warming ignore the fact that in historic times the earth was warmer than it is today.  BBC produced a History of Britain and began with the remnants of the earliest inhabitants, studing residue left on islands north of Scotland.  They discovered that the inhabitants then were eating triopcal fish!  In the Medieval warm period, Greenland was green enough to support a European population large enough to have a bishop with cattle.  After a few hundred years, the cold returned and wiped them out (and nearly wiped out the people of Iceland.).  If nore history for Al Gore’s hockey sticks and win Academy Awards and US Govt grants – until Trump.  So the supporters of the global warming hoax are angry at the possible loss of financial support.  So they marched.  But do the care about science?

            In March 2017 social scientist Charles Murray (no relation) was invited to speak at Middlebury College in Connecticut.  In addition to the usual disruptions, a mob attacked him and his host on campus, a woman not even a conservative.  Murray was the joint author of the famous work THE BELL CURVE.  It has been denounced but not refuted.  The Left hates a real social scientist.  That is why they try to shut Murray up.  And did!  What did the organizers of the March for Science say about that outrage?  Nothing.  Why?  Because the Left DOES NOT BELIEVE IN SCIENCE, it believes in its ideology.  Was there any sign in all those marches throughout the world defending Charles Murray or THE BELL CURVE?  No.  The Left-wing organizers of the March for “Science” would have ejected any pro-BELL CURVE sign from the march.  The “March for Science” might best be called Lysenko’s March for Science, or Stalin’s March for Science.  It is anti-science.  And they have done more to defund any research on IQ and race, IQ and crime, genetics and crime, even twin studies.  And while they always label their opponents as “racists,” the Left’s views on DDT have probably cost the lives of thousands of Africans dying of malaria, lives that might have been saved if DDT had been used again to kill deadly mosquitos.

            One hopes the Trump Administration will not fund wasteful projects relating to the myth of global warming.
